Bensalem Police Capture Dentist, Charged with Child Pornography
June 8, 2009Bensalem Police Department captured Michael Kushner, 51, of Middletown, Pennsylvania and charged him with 58 counts of sexual abuse of children. He is accused of possessing and trading images of children as young as 8 years old being raped and tortured. They also found more than 100 videos on the computer in the bedroom Kushner shares with his wife. Each video is considered 40 images, so thousands of new child sexual abuse image charges could be added.
According to the Courier Times News, in a chilling, but not surprising development, police seized not only computers with child sexual abuse images not only from his house, but also his office. They also found three Internet cameras.
We applaud the work of the Bensalem police department in their work to keep Bucks County children safe from predators. But they need your help to obtain the basic equipment they need to do their work. Please help us get them what they need.
