Franklin ICAC/SVU Arrests Local Suspect on Charges of Raping 14-year-old Little Girl
September 3, 2009Ronald Grundy, 28, of Franklin, Tennessee, a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, was arrested and charged Tuesday with the forcible rape of a child. As happens with most child molestation, Grundy was known to the victim. The child was at Grundy’s home while his wife and small child were out of town.
Grundy initially asked the girl to have sex with him. When she refused, he forcibly raped her. The brave girl told her school counselor what happened, and the same day, Franklin Police took a resisting Grundy into custody.
He is currently being held without bond.
