Honoring Sacrifices
June 6, 2009Today we honor the brave servicemembers who fought so valiantly at D-Day to vanquish one of the most purely evil regimes ever known to mankind. Without their courage, honor, and devotion to the cause of good, a great evil could have overtaken the world, causing untold suffering and even more deaths.
Evil still lurks in the world, though, and heroes still fight valiantly on the frontlines every day, in the heart of the United States of America. Our Internet Crimes Against Children task forces sacrifice their lives to help rescue our own children, without adequate support and reinforcements. Once viewed, images of children being horrifically sexually abused and screaming in agony for help can never be erased from investigators’ memories. We would like to honor every D-Day veteran and hero today, and honor every one of the law enforcement who work to save American children, suffering from monstrous abuse right here in our neighborhoods, our schools, throughout our beautiful country. Please help us support these officers in their work to vanquish a widespread and invasive evil in the heart of America.
