Fundraiser to Benefit Wounded Deputy Perez

The San Diego County Deputy Sheriff’s Foundation invites you to a fundraiser to benefit Deputy Perez and family. Deputy Perez, along with Sgt. Craig Johnson were wounded last month during a shooting in Lakeside while trying to arrest a suspect of child pornography. Sgt. Johnson is recovering at home but Deputy Perez is still in the hospital and will be for quite a while. He is due to have future surgeries and will have a very long recovery time.
