The Ft. Walton Beach Police Department has critical needs:
Two detectives at Ft. Walton Beach Police Department are working to rid this coastal community of predators, and need a cell phone forensic analysis device to do it. These investigators have pursued 80 child pornography investigations since 2006. In one case, Ft. Walton Beach investigators have been able to arrest a high school teacher and coach who was violating and photographing a young child. After a search, child pornography was found on his home computer. Without a cell phone forensic device for Ft. Walton Beach, though, the odds are stacked in favor of predators like these.
Request: On behalf of the Ft. Walton Beach Police Department, we are requesting a Cellebrite UFED vital to forensic processing of cellphones seized as evidence in child pornography, child luring, child kidnapping and other child victimization investigations.
Cost: $8,060 for the UFED and 4 additional years of support and newly released phone cable upgrades
