The Door County Sheriff’s Office has critical needs:
Investigators at the Door County Sheriff’s Office and the Sturgeon Bay Police Department pursue close to 100 cases of child sexual abuse facilitated by the Internet per year. This duo is producing more cases than some teams with many more investigators. They can’t keep up with the forensic analysis of their cases, though, without your help. They are in desperate need of a computer forensic analysis device in order to put these predators in jail in a timely manner and stop the abuse of children in northern Wisconsin.
Request: On behalf of the Door County Sheriff’s Office we are requesting a FRED – Forensic Recovery of Evidence Device, and the EnCase software needed to process the evidence.
Costs: $7,159 for the FRED computer analysis device, and $2,850 for the EnCase software.
