According to authorities, during the search of the home a 7-year old boy told investigators of his sexual abuse. The investigation uncovered a total of 4 boys between the ages of 7 to 14 that have been abused by Matthews over the past two years.
Todd Hoffner, 46, head football coach of Minnesota State University at Mankato, was arrested at his home for possessing and producing child pornography, according to authorities. Hoffner has been with the MSU Mavericks for five years. He is married with three children.
According to authorities, Robert Burke, a former elementary-school principal at Sageville Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison and after admitting he secretly set up a video camera in the boysâ€™ bathroom in his school to produce child pornography.
“Each arrestee was in possession of multiple images or videos of pornography involving prepubescent children,” said San Jose police officer Jose Garcia. “The actual number of images will not be known until a full forensic examination is completed.”
Nicholas James Ferguson was sentenced this week in federal court in San Diego to serve 130 months in federal prison to be followed by 10 years of supervision upon release for pleading guilty to receipt of child pornography, according to United States Attorney Laura Duffy.
