HART - Helping Advocates Rebound from Trauma

In 2019 we received a generous grant from the Motorola Solutions Foundation to expand our reach beyond Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Teams and offer a mental health and wellness program that focuses on a range of stressors and traumatic events, to be suitable for professionals who work in roles that expose them to traumatic materials and events, and the trauma of others.

Who might benefit from this program? Law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel, social service providers, those working in victim services, and those in “helping” professions.

The current grant funding allows us to provide this training to up to 400 people in the San Diego County area for free!

We are currently developing an interest list, so we know how many people could be served by the initial launch of this program, which will help us make decisions on waiting to provide in-person training, or taking the program online.

If you are interested in HART for your staff or volunteers, please contact us.

Our programs are here to help, because losing any professional to burn-out, severe depression, substance abuse or suicide is unnecessary, tragic, and preventable.
This is why we do what we do.
