_May 2022 bw tears MHA Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month with The Innocent Justice Foundation

Join us in supporting heroes this May!

In an effort to grow and share our Helping Advocates Rebound from Trauma (HART) program, we will be hosting several training opportunities this May. We will provide free vicarious trauma mitigation and mental health & wellness training to San Diego County victim serving professionals.

We have one full-day Helping Advocates Rebound from Trauma training scheduled at the Dove Library in Carlsbad and are looking for a second location within the county to host a second full-day training. In addition, we will have two online trainings, two online webinars, and a Facebook Live discussion talking about vicarious trauma all during May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Nationally health and human service professionals, first responders, law enforcement and others are seeing increases in burn-out, depression, and sadly suicide. We want to support the “Helpers” in our community who work to make our communities stronger.

Sponsor Today!
Our goal is to raise funds to support our mission and expand our reach in San Diego County. Would your business have an interest in providing a $2500 sponsorship for our Mental Health Awareness programming this May 2022? Your logo and language would need to be received by April 1, 2022 to be included in marketing and training materials. This is our first annual event and we expect it to serve between 250 and 500 people. We want to develop strong supportive relationships with those who believe as we do… mental health matters!

For additional information on being a Sponsor, or if you have a facility to donate for a full-day training in May please email info@innocentjustice.org.

Our programs are here to help, because losing any professional to burn-out, severe depression, substance abuse or suicide is unnecessary, tragic, and preventable.
This is why we do what we do.
